Now that pedelecs are on the rise, it is also important to ensure that your dog can travel long distances. No matter what kind of dog you have, no dog can keep up with the speed of a pedelec. A dog cannot run 80-90 km a day, which is why we are here with our solution, the DoggyTourer. Not only do we build and use the DoggyTourer ourselves, but we also know the dogs. We know which dog has which character and how much time it takes to get a dog used to the trailer. Just as every person has their own character, so does your dog. That is why statements that only refer to the size of a trailer or the weight of your dog are wrong.

The tubs of our bicycle trailers for dogs are made from flat, strong aluminium that will resist scratching from your dog's claws. A 3-in-1 cover protects your four-legged friend from the rain, and you can keep an eye on your dog through the integrated windows. The dog trailers are available in sizes S, M, L, X and XL. The suspension (damping) is designed for loads up to 80 kg. (This total load capacity always refers to the weight of the dog and only works if the size of the dog matches the size of the DoggyTourer) This means that larger dogs can also be transported.

Please note that a dog should always lie down in the trailer (which your dog will do in the DoggyTourer!) and not stand or sit. A standing dog shifts the centre of gravity upwards. This can increase the risk of tipping when cornering! People often think that the trailer is too small. The opposite is true, the dog should be able to turn in the trailer but not run around. We also recommend that you secure the dog with our safety straps. The eyelets are built into each trailer. You will also need a hitch for your bicycle, which is not included as we do not know what type of hitch fits your bicycle!
