Special version of the E hitch, mounting on very short dropouts with quick release.
Not suitable for pedelecs!
A new safety strap must be fitted if the hitch is used with an older drawbar. This means that for the M5 screw, the existing hole (of a self-tapping screw) for the drawbar foot must be enlarged and drilled through the entire drawbar.

The EK hitch is a special version of the E hitch. It was specially developed for bikes with a very short dropout (10-12mm).
It is not approved for motorised bikes!
For safety reasons, we always advise you to have the hitches fitted to your bike by your specialist dealer.
We would like to point out to all dealers and end users that, in terms of product liability, you are responsible for the entire bicycle-trailer system and its correct function!

Mounting on the bike
The EK hitch is fixed to the left rear dropout with the quick release. It must still be possible to screw on the adjusting nut of the quick release with at least 8 turns! The length of the dropout must not be less than 10 mm, from a length of 12 mm use the E hitch with the polygons as an anti-rotation lock.
Not to be used with
- Dropouts less than 10mm long
- horizontal dropouts that open to the rear (e.g. almost all Gazelle models)
- uneven dropout environment
- pedelecs and e-bikes
